Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Dreams2Reality (DTR) is an acoustic indie rock-pop duo that's been captivating audiences since 2016. With a sound that seamlessly blends passionate lyrics, heartfelt melodies, and an ever-evolving musical style, DTR has quickly become one of the most dynamic acts on the Vancouver music scene.

Comprised of Jonn Epplette (vocals) and Michael Foot (guitars), DTR’s roots trace back to their time together in the classic rock cover band IConIX, where their undeniable chemistry sparked the formation of something truly special. The duo’s passion for music led them to start revamping cover songs while writing their own original material.

Their debut album, Cover This (2017), was a nod to the music that inspired them, showcasing their ability to take well-known tracks and put their own acoustic spin on them. While paying tribute to their influences, Cover This proved DTR's gift for reimagining familiar tunes with fresh, intimate energy.

By 2018, the duo’s sound had fully blossomed with the release of their self-titled album. This marked a pivotal moment in their career as they transitioned to original material, delivering melodic depth and emotion; a candid and intimate collection highlighting Jonn's powerful vocals and Michael’s intricate guitar arrangements.

Delayed by world events, DTR returned with their long-awaited third album, Right Here (2024). Expanding on their acoustic foundation, Right Here featured the addition of Lisa Storm on bass and piano, Ray Pedersen on keys/synth and Jonn Holden on drums (borrowed with deep gratitude from Under The Mountain). The result was a more dynamic, energetic sound that captured their musical maturity and versatility.

2025 witnessed the release of “Kick Stones”(June2025) with overwhelming success. Here, DTR pushed themselves well beyond the boundaries of their previous sound, all while staying true to the acoustic roots that first defined them.

The buzz around DTR’s performances have been building steadily, and with demand for their live shows skyrocketing in the past year (due to the release of two successful albums within a twelve month period), the duo has solidified their place in Vancouver’s vibrant music scene, including two tours in 2025, and several being planned for 2026.

Jonn and Michael’s love for music runs deep, and through Dreams2Reality, they’ve found an outlet to pursue their dream of sharing both their powerful originals and reimagined classics with the world. The journey is only just beginning, and they’re inviting you along for the ride.
